An older hotel that was not real busy but provided good service at a reasonable price, at least when getting an organisation negotiated rate. Room was large and bed comfortable and sheets and towels clean. Pillow a bit hard, but that is common. Desk okay for work and internet by wire was good. One morning water was off but they were able to fix quickly. Often the room was too hot and had to open a window. Gym is satisfactory for $5 a visit. Food not outstanding, but acceptable. I also sort of like the over the top ornate ceilings in the dining room, drapes, and stairways.

Stayed at the the hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel was comfortable with large rooms, and convienant to government offices. The staff at the hotel were always dilligent, willing to help however they could and the hotel rate was goodk, other than that, noting really stood out, but there were no complaints either. Breakfast filled you up. Rooms lacks a kettle, but if asked, one will be supplied for you, and there is a small grocery store down the street where you can buy tea, noodles etc. If you don't mind a a older hotel, with grand but out-dated rooms, plenty of comfort, free internet, and decent food and good rate, this is the place for you.

We stayed her for one night at the beginning and one night at the end of our trip to Mongolia and had a good stay. Our travel company had chosen this hotel and as we were three people we received a huge apartment on the 4th floor: lots of space including a kitchen, living room, etc. The apartment was really nice, the only noise was from the fun park next door when people went on the roller coaster. Other than our travel group there were not many guests and the hotel feels like it is being outgrown (literally) by all the surrounding modern hotels. The entrance hall, bar and restaurant are very grand with beautiful floors, ceilings and chandeliers. We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was also good and the bar offered alcoholic drinks in the evening. Cannot comment on price as we did not book it ourselves. The hotel is fairly close to the city center - reachable on foot! The exterior of the hotel makes it look more fancy than it is. It is a pleasant hotel with comfortable, bright rooms (corner room best). Pleasant breakfast and the hotel is not far from the main square. Intermittent hot water. Overall, exceeded my expectations for a Mongolian hotel.
